Basic Information Concepts

Lesson Objectives

This section introduces the basic principles of information science that will provide a conceptual understanding of how to build web content that can dliver. Closely tied to information is its relationship to knowledge that is now powering Western economies. The information cycle should equip those publishers of web sites that seek to provide information that people in developing countries can use i.e. information for development - a topic that is covered in Lesson 3.
