Beginning from the Banjul area, there are lots
of things to see and treasure. One good example
is the beaches which run from the Denton bridge,
(boundary between the Kombos and Banjul area)
Gunjur
and up to Kartung. There is also the Arch 22 recreational
monument at the centre of the capital. This was
erected to commemorate the July 22, 1994 military
take-over in the country.
